Husnain has over eight years of experience in the legal services industry and has rights of audience before the High Courts of Pakistan. He read LLB (Shariah and Law), with honors, at the International Islamic University Islamabad and stood 1st in his year and was awarded the Gold Medal by the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Husnain has developed substantial experience in civil litigation; having conducted a large number of cases over the years, involving a plethora of legal propositions relating to different areas of the Civil Law.

Husnain routinely advises and represents the Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL); Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and Pakistan Tobacco Company (PTC) in different contentious matters before the High Courts and the District Courts.

Husnain also takes interest in Constitutional and Administrative Law and has recently challenged the position of the Vice-Chancellor of the Federal Urdu University of Arts and Sciences in a Quo Warranto constitutional petition before the Honourable Islamabad High Court.

Husnain is also involved in tax and regulatory affairs. He regularly renders legal opinions and/or represents individuals as well as local and foreign corporations in a broad range of tax issues before the Appellate Tribunals Inland Revenue established under the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001 and references emanating out of such appeals before the High Courts of Pakistan.

Husnain has a strong academic background in the Arabic language; having studied it in school and university. He has expertise in succession and inheritance law, particularly Islamic jurisprudence and has written a thesis on “Operation of Inheritance of Pure Rights” for his Master of Laws degree.
